Gabriela is an engineer in food science (B.Sc.) and in biotechnology (M.Sc.).

Research interests

For her Ph.D., she is interested in researching technoscience, specifically alternative science communities in the life sciences. Her research interests follow her previous work from her master thesis where she studied the Do-it-Yourself biology movement and the biohacker identity and culture.
